Market Research & Analysis: Conduct fundamental and technical market research on commodities relevant to Smithfield.Report data on pricing and supply-demand dynamics for key commodities in U.S. and global markets.Analyze financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions and share findings with stakeholders. Risk Management & Hedging Strategy: Support the development and execution of hedging strategies across various commodity exposures.Assist in trade execution, position management, and reporting.Provide insights on market drivers to inform risk management. Data Aggregation & Communication: Gather critical data to aid in market strategy development.Present findings to stakeholders through impactful reports and presentations. Leadership & Collaboration: Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to foster professional development.Collaborate across business segments to deliver timely market intelligence.WHAT WE'RE SEEKING: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
