As a LOB Risk Expert Senior within PNC's Swap Dealer & Broker Dealer organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, Chicago, IL or any corporate office within PNC's footprint.
The candidate will support Swap Dealer and Institutional Broker Dealer businesses by providing independent risk oversight across complex products, transactions, and end-to-end processes. The role requires a strong foundation in industry practices and regulatory expectations, including familiarity with U.S. securities regulations, swap dealer frameworks (e.g., Dodd-Frank, FINRA, CFTC, SEC), and global capital markets standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to assess risks across capital markets sales, trading, underwriting, structuring, and advisory activities; challenge business assumptions; and translate evolving regulatory requirements into practical, sustainable controls.   • Drives the establishment and oversight of Line of Business risk strategies and program execution. Serves as the subject matter expert for the risk management program, process owner and/or regulatory relationship liaison.
  • Establishes the line of business risk management strategies and programs, maintains and enhances existing programs to support the business(es) in managing risk while meeting business and regulatory expectations.
  • Oversees the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and/or across the lines of business. Owns process and/or regulatory relationship liaison.
  • Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit). Monitors changes in internal and external factors and identifies emerging risks.
  • Leads and engages cross functional teams and develops internal capabilities. Guides and mentors junior staff.
