We are seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor level candidates to join our current physician, genetics nurse practitioner, five genetic counselors, and metabolic dietician.

We are seeking a dynamic individual interested in clinical practice in an academic setting, with opportunities for research depending on candidate. There is excellent departmental and institutional support and mentoring for individual and collaborative scholarly activities. Our growing division of physicians, GCs, RNP and RD works collaboratively to provide clinical genetic services across all ages and conditions; applicants with particular interest and experience in metabolic disorders are encouraged. We work closely with colleagues in Pediatrics, Medicine, OB/Gyn and across other schools (e.g., Pharmacy and Dentistry). The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
