Home Office: Mason

    Job Summary

    The Universal Banker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by performing teller transactions, opening and maintaining consumer accounts, and identifying customer needs to recommend appropriate banking products and services. This position supports the bank’s mission by delivering a consistent, relationship focused banking experience while adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    The Universal Banker is assigned to the Mason office as their home location and will float to other offices as business needs require.

    Job Duties

    • Primary Responsibilities
      • Accurately process a variety of teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cash handling.
      • Open and service consumer deposit accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and related services.
      • Conduct customer needs based conversations and recommend appropriate products and services.
      • Identify referral opportunities for Mortgage, Treasury Management, Wealth, and other departments.
      • Maintain compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (including BSA/AML).
      • Utilize bank systems and CRM tools to document customer interactions and referrals.
      • Respond professionally to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
      • Promote digital banking tools and educate customers on self service options.
      • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
      • Participate in training, coaching, and continuous development activities.
      • Works collaboratively with the Mason office team and supports other retail offices when needed.
      • Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
      • Other duties as assigned.
    • Home Office & Float Expectations
      • The Mason office is the Universal Banker’s primary and home office assignment.
      • The position is scheduled and staffed primarily in Mason.
      • The Universal Banker may float to other branch locations on an as needed basis to support: 
        • Coverage due to PTO, illness, or vacancies.
        • Business volume or operational needs.
        • Training or temporary assignments.
        • Floating is collaborative and planned whenever possible; however, flexibility is an expectation of the role.
