JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for operating the register and point-of-sale (POS) system, performing basic cooking and food preparation, providing exemplary Guest service by greeting Guests and filling food and beverage orders, helping with internal and external crowd control, and assisting with cleaning duties that include mopping floors, emptying trash, and wiping down tables. Will also assist in restocking condiments, bussing tables, and running food.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for basic preparation and/or cooking of food for various Food and Beverage venues (i.e. operating fryers to handle fried food cooked on a timer).
  • Responsible for taking and filling orders of food and beverage requested by Guests. Operate the register and follow appropriate procedures by properly processing credit card transactions and discounts.
  • Provide friendly and courteous assistance to Guests while answering questions and directing Guests within the restaurant. Maintain internal and external crowd control and line speed as Guests enter and exit the restaurant.
  • Responsible for cleaning the dining areas in an efficient and expedient manner. Clear tables, maintain floors by sweeping and mopping, empty garbage, stock and replenish condiment stands, and straighten chairs.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Individual Contributor.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
