As a Armed Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires operation of a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policies. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific requirements, maintaining a professional presence while handling sensitive interactions.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
