Our work initially focused on the entertainment industry, specifically live events and recorded music (SXSW, Sony Music, Universal Music, and Disney Music Group are all clients). We have grown to include global brands (Amazon, Sophia Learning), major sports franchises (X Games, Florida Panthers, Washington Commanders, Cleveland Cavaliers, Womens Tennis Association), as well as public sector institutions (City of Boston, Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism).


Gupta Media is looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist to help amplify our clients' brands. In this role, you'll lead the planning, creation, and publishing of social content across platformsfrom short-form video and photos to copywriting and content calendars. Working closely with our senior team, you'll help execute organic social campaigns, coordinate with influencers and creators, and measure performance to continuously improve results.


Our ideal candidate loves creating content for social media and has a strong eye for what captures attention on screen. While your primary focus will be bringing fresh content ideas to life, you have a foundational understanding of organic social strategy and performance analyticsand you're excited to continue building those skills. You're a collaborative team player who enjoys working alongside our Media and Creative teams, experimenting with new ideas, and continuously learning and growing.


What Youll Do:

  • Plan, create, and publish engaging social contentincluding short-form video, photography, graphics, and post copyfor clients. You'll also help develop editorial calendars and content strategies under the guidance of the Senior Social Media Strategist;
  • Analyze and visualize data for content performance reporting to provide actionable insights;
  • Partner with the Senior Social Media Strategist and Media teams to execute influencer content and branded partnerships;
  • Monitor industry and social media trends, tools, platforms, innovations, and best practices;
  • Manage community engagement and moderation on clients channels, including proactive outreach and strategic crisis monitoring.


Who You Are:

  • Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience in an agency or marketing role with a dedicated social media focus
  • Experience working with social media scheduling and content management tools
  • Strong portfolio of successful campaigns and evergreen social content, demonstrating creative storytelling ability across multiple social platforms that build awareness, engage new and existing customers, and increase conversions
  • Proficient with content creation tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar video editing and design software
  • Excellent communication and creative thinking skills, with the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Driven to learn new things and constantly improve on current methods
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to work across various media, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adjust as circumstances change

Compensation
At Gupta Media, base salary is one component of our total compensation and benefits package. For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. This role is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan, which is based on the company's performance.


We offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and pet insurance; Flexible and Dependent Care Savings Accounts; a 401(k) with up to 5% Safe Harbor contributions; paid time off; paid family leave; commuting and wellness stipends; and opportunities for professional development and career growth.


Candidates must be authorized to work in the US for at least 3 years.
