What is universal healthcare?

Universal healthcare is a system that ensures all individuals have access to necessary health services without suffering financial hardship. It typically covers a wide range of medical services, such as doctor visits, hospital stays, preventive care, and sometimes prescription drugs. The goal is to provide equal healthcare opportunities regardless of income, employment status, or pre-existing conditions. Funding for universal healthcare may come from taxes, government programs, or mandatory health insurance. Many countries, including the UK and Canada, have implemented versions of universal healthcare to promote public health and reduce healthcare disparities.
