Clearwater Credit Union is accepting applications for a Universal Associate position. In this role youโ€™ll support members across all aspects of their financial journey from advising about accounts and services to processing transactions, to assisting members with self-service channels.

Universal Associates build strong relationships with current and prospective members while identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and contribute directly to the credit unionโ€™s strategic goals through exceptional service and financial guidance.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Provide internal and external members with excellent service.
  • Provide services to members in the following areas:
    • Processing cash and check transactions
    • Opening new accounts
    • Assisting with lending functions such as:
      • Funding auto-decisioned loans.
      • Referring members to appropriate lending department.
      • Setting up appointments with loan officers.
  • Protect members and credit union from fraudulent activities
  • Use financial services equipment to meet member needs; help with general maintenance of equipment.
  • Receive incoming phone calls; make outgoing phone calls.
  • Work with multiple service channels to provide member satisfaction and education about
    • Digital Banking
    • Phone Banking
    • Card Services
    • ITM Operations
  • Advise on account options, including:
    • Opening and closing all types of accounts offered.
    • Maintaining member accounts.
    • Updating member account records.
    • Researching and solving member account options and issues.
    • Referring members to more in-depth credit counseling and resolution, when needed.
  • Advise on financial solutions including:
    • Educating members on products and services and refer based on individual member(s) needs.
    • Being knowledgeable about products and services, including staying up to date with changes and additions.
  • Advise on service transactions, including:
    • Empowering members to process their own transactions.
    • Processing member transactions and other member requests.
    • Managing ECRโ€™s, ITMโ€™s and ATMโ€™s or any other self-service solution.
    • Completing end-of-day balancing activities.
  • Follow all credit union policies and procedures, including being compliant with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Have reliable attendance and complete all assigned tasks.

You must be comfortable working in an open environment, have strong communications skills, be flexible, and be a team player. Additional requirements include the ability to provide exceptional service, multi-task, recognize needs, and create solutions.
