Unity Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position. • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based evaluation techniques.
• Develop personalized service plans that outline clear goals, interventions, and methods for monitoring progress, ensuring that clients receive tailored support.
• Provide direct counseling services to individuals and families, creating a safe and supportive environment for addressing their challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to facilitate access to community resources, connecting them with essential support services for their specific needs.
• Offer crisis intervention, including risk assessments and safety planning, to address urgent client situations effectively.
• Coordinate with community agencies and organizations to advocate for client needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness of our services and foster relationships with local partners.
• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development training to enhance skills and improve service outcomes.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Unity Support Services, you will work primarily with vulnerable populations who often face multifaceted challenges, including mental health disorders, family conflict, substance use, and chronic poverty. Your ability to address their unique needs through empathetic and individualized care will significantly impact their path to recovery and stability.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• In-depth understanding of social and economic justice issues, as well as trauma-informed care principles.
• Exceptional communication skills, cultural competence, and adept problem-solving abilities.

• Experience working within a social service agency or similar environment is preferred, showcasing a strong foundation in case management and clinical practices.
