• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments that delve into clients' mental health concerns while identifying their strengths and available resources.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities that cater to each client's unique situation.
• Utilize therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to address and support the diverse needs of clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals and intervention strategies to guide the therapeutic process.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients, optimizing their treatment outcomes.
• Perform crisis interventions when necessary, utilizing risk assessments and safety planning to secure immediate safety and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with ethical and legal standards to protect both clients and the organization while measuring progress.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and peer support groups, which foster community engagement and shared learning.

At Unity Harbor Center, you will primarily work with students who face various mental health challenges. This includes individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological concerns. You will play a pivotal role in supporting these young individuals as they navigate their educational and personal lives, reinforcing their resilience and coping strategies.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), enabling you to practice independently in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience within a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating your proficiency in therapeutic practices.
• Strong familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, ensuring you can effectively apply therapeutic techniques to meet client needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building trust and rapport with clients and team members alike.

While two years of experience are required, candidates with a background in school-based mental health services or trauma-informed care will be prioritized. Additional training or certifications in specific therapeutic modalities will be beneficial for prospective candidates.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus.
