• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, reviewing pertinent medical histories and performing specific assessments to determine individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment goals effectively with patients and their families, integrating their input into planning and goal setting.
• Demonstrate expertise in implementing treatment protocols based on patient assessments, adapting approaches to suit evolving healthcare trends.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, documenting any changes in patient conditions and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Exhibit efficient time management skills, maintaining productivity expectations and an organized schedule while being punctual for meetings and patient sessions.
• Contribute to departmental goals and objectives, adhering to regulations and standards set by accrediting organizations.
• Engage in continuous education to enhance professional skills and knowledge, while also serving as a clinical instructor for students entering the field.
• Promote a patient-centered experience, working to remove barriers to care access and actively participating in community outreach initiatives.

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, chronic pain sufferers, athletes with sports-related injuries, and elderly patients requiring rehabilitative care. As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to engage with each patient uniquely, designing customized care that addresses their specific needs and goals, ultimately enhancing their recovery journey.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid state license as a Physical Therapist, compliant with Connecticut requirements.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

• While a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is required, we encourage enthusiastic candidates who display potential and eagerness to learn and grow in their careers.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, particularly with a focus on rehabilitation techniques and patient education.
