This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI with CI poly level.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop and enhance advanced geospatial and Motion GEOINT applications. This role involves building scalable, high-performance solutions across the full technology stack, including interactive visualization and 3D capabilities. You will work within an Agile team to deliver mission-critical features, improve system architecture, and optimize performance across distributed systems. The position requires strong object-oriented design skills, a performance-focused mindset, and the ability to quickly contribute to complex environments. The ideal candidate is a self-driven engineer who collaborates effectively and thrives in fast-paced, technically challenging settings.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications supporting geospatial and Motion GEOINT systems.
  • Build scalable, high-performance software across front-end, back-end, and data layers.
  • Develop interactive visualization and 3D rendering capabilities for GIS and simulation-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical features and enhancements.
  • Contribute to system architecture, object-oriented design, and microservices-based solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems.
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and configuration management.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, standups, and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments and technology stacks.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly).
  • 10+ years of full stack software development experience.
  • Experience with geospatial applications, including Motion GEOINT data, concepts, and systems.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with modern development practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and distributed systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Expertise in modern frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, Node.js, Django, or Spring.
  • Experience with 3D graphics, visualization, or game engine technologies (e.g., OpenGL, WebGL, Unity, CesiumJS).
  • Strong background in geospatial tools and platforms (e.g., PostGIS, GeoServer, ArcGIS, QGIS, Leaflet, Mapbox).

• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $137,000.00 - $228,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
