Job description

Model and Simulation Developer/Engineer

Position Description:

  • Support development of models, simulations, and data analysis tools for complex Department of Defense (DoD) missile defense systems.
  • Apply these tools to assess system performance under operational, ground test, and flight test conditions.
  • Requires strong background in programming (e.g. Python, C++, FORTRAN), competence in Object-Oriented Programming, ability to apply complex numerical methods in S/W development, understanding of Artificial Intelligence methods to improve S/W development efficiency and capability, and ability to understand how complex defense weapons systems work and utilize models and simulations to assess their performance.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science or similar scientific field.

Security Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain a security clearance is required. In-place SECRET clearance desired.

Experience Requirements: Mid-Level candidates with 3+ years' experience in DoD-related programs considered.

Anticipated Salary Range: $60,000 to $100,000 dependent on experience
