• Perform in-depth evaluations of clients to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address client needs.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance effectiveness.
• Work in an integrated care model, collaborating with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals for holistic treatment.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to refine your therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain confidential and organized client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to enhance your skills and foster camaraderie within the team.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work to reduce the stigma associated with seeking therapy.

The primary focus of your therapeutic practice will include individuals facing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your clients may come from various backgrounds, including underserved populations, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your role will be instrumental in delivering culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges these diverse experiences.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to form strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
• An empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to understanding client experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a varied caseload effectively.

• Experience working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of cultural considerations in therapy.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly focusing on mood disorders.
• A background in client advocacy and community engagement to enhance client outcomes.

• Annual salary between USD 70,000 - 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
