Unity Point Wellness & Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients through virtual sessions and telehealth platforms. • Provide direct clinical services to clients with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, including individual, group, and family therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop integrated care plans, and ensure that care is tailored to the client's personal needs and presenting challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based practices for crisis intervention and brief screenings to facilitate timely assessments and treatment strategies.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to maintain continuity of care and to ensure that patient services are well-coordinated.
• Demonstrate a commitment to cultural competency and inclusivity while engaging with clients and colleagues to promote an environment of respect and understanding.
• Monitor client progress, documenting interactions, treatment responses, and implementing necessary changes to care plans in a timely manner.
• Provide on-call support during and after working hours, ensuring that help is available when clients need it most.
• Participate in agency initiatives and committees aimed at improving service delivery and improving client outcomes.
• Ensure the completion of reports and submissions in compliance with professional and organizational standards.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Unity Point Wellness & Counseling, you will primarily serve clients who face significant mental health challenges, including major depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and other severe emotional difficulties. Our client base includes individuals from diverse backgrounds who often have limited access to mental health resources. You will play a critical role in ensuring they receive quality behavioral health services tailored to their unique cultural, social, and economic situations.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) is highly preferred.
• Active state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health settings is required.
• Proven ability to conduct assessments and provide treatment interventions effectively.
• Experience working with underserved populations is a significant advantage.

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care or certified clinical guidelines, particularly with respect to telehealth methodologies, will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and previous experience in a hospice or related healthcare setting would also enhance the candidacy of applicants.

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
