Job description

Applicants must have a Valid Driver's License, and Current Auto Insurance.
We have mandatory background checks and pre employment drug swab testing.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides personal care and/or homemaker services to individuals in their place of residence and assists them in maintaining their home.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Meets competency requirements.
  2. Speaks, writes, reads, and comprehends oral and written instruction.
  3. Able to lift, push, and pull light to moderate loads.
  4. Valid Driver's License
  5. One year personal care related experience or State certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
  1. Assist the patient-client with the activities of daily living such as: bathing, personal hygiene, ambulation, transferring, dressing, and toileting
  2. Maintain a safe and healthful home environment.
  3. Run errands.
  4. Meal preparation and menu planning.
  5. Household management
  6. Provide emotional support and compassionate care to the client and family.
  7. Maintain required competency and skills.
  8. Reports any changes in the client's condition or family situation immediately by calling the office/supervisor.
  9. Practices Universal precautions according to OSHA regulations and agency policy and procedures.
  10. Attends at least twelve (12) hours of continuing education programs or approved audiovisuals per calendar year.
  11. Document all patient-client related activities in a timely manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to lift, move, and pull light to heavy loads. May do heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling, up to 25 pounds.
LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS
1. Current Driver's License
2. Current Automobile Liability Insurance According to Company Policy & Procedure.
3. State Certificate if applicable.
4. CPR and First Aid Preferred
