Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skill
Storage Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong L3 administration and engineering expertise across Dell EMC platforms
(Unity, PowerScale, PowerStore, vplex, metronode and brocade switches).
Advanced knowledge of storage clustering, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery replication topologies.
Automation: Hands-on experience building storage infrastructure workflows.
Cloud Integration: Practical working knowledge of cloud fundamentals, focusing on hybrid storage and compute integration.
Proven track record of cross-functional teamwork with network, compute, and application stakeholders.
Basic understanding on building/automation of storage infrastructure workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities
โ€ข Provide technical support for mission-critical enterprise storage environments and maintain SLAs.
โ€ข Execute continuous storage performance tuning, block/file resource allocation, and proactive capacity planning.
โ€ข Lead definitive root-cause analysis (RCA) for complex storage outages and implement permanent preventive fixes.
โ€ข Resolve multi-layered I/O bottlenecks spanning storage arrays, SAN/NAS network fabrics, and virtualization layers.
โ€ข Automate routine provisioning pipelines, configuration management, and daily operational tasks.
โ€ข Lead end-to-end hardware and software lifecycles:
โ€ข executing non-disruptive tech refreshes, code upgrades, and microcode patching.
โ€ข Plan and execute complex, zero-downtime data migrations between legacy platforms, next-gen arrays, and cloud targets.
โ€ข Produce and maintain definitive technical blueprints, architecture diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
โ€ข Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 production support.
Salary Range: $ 60,000-$ 80,000 a year
