XR Developer
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your passion and expertise in XR and Spatial Computing to help build cutting-edge solutions at the intersection of XR, Digital Twin, 5G, Human Performance, and Edge Computing? We're looking for a Gaming Engine Develop er with the skills and creativity needed to build XR & Digital Twin solutions from vision to production-ready system.
As an agile develop er with the expertise needed to help solve our client's toughest problems, you enjoy working collaboratively with others and have a commitment to customer satisfaction and process improvement. You love the challenge of develop ing new solutions for a wide range of complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. You are adaptable to new develop ment environments and eager to work with and learn new technologies. Develop , optimize, and transition immersive and digital twin prototypes to robust implementations in augmented, virtual, and mixed reality across markets and industries. Maintain and enhance a strong knowledge profile of emerging technologies and provide input on pros and cons on combinations of such technologies for building immersive and digital twin solutions. Collaborate with a team of sof tware develop ers, artists, and designers from varying technical backgrounds to solve complex problems and develop novel systems and solutions.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with 3D sof tware develop ment
• 2+ years of experience with C# or C++
• Experience with sof tware develop ment life cycle processes or Agile develop ment, including Scrum or rapid prototyping
• Experience with VR and AR technologies
• Experience with 3D game or simulation technologies, including Unity or Unreal Engine
• Experience with source control, including Plastic SCM, Git, or SVN
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with data analytics, AI, and ML
• Experience with sensors and IoT
• Experience with "Shipped" XR Commer cia l Products
• Experience with programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python, preferred
• Experience with Unity Reflect, Pixyz, or Prespective
• Experience with Autodesk Revit, Esri, MBSE, or AEC industry toolsets
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
