Job description

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a leading organization in the fluid power industry seeking a Motion Systems Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for designing and documenting system solutions to ensure functionality, quality, and efficiency, while collaborating closely with internal teams and customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for engineered systems
  • Develop hydraulic and/or electrical schematics
  • Design 3D layouts and detailed drawings for engineered systems
  • Evaluate customer specifications to ensure system performance meets expectations
  • Follow internal workflows and processes to ensure product quality
  • Assist with system startup and implementation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and product development efforts

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience reading and creating circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working within established workflows and cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to expand expertise across hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, and electrical systems
  • Understanding of manufacturing environments and current industry trends
  • General knowledge of machine control systems and PLC interfaces
