As a Service Technician Intern, you will learn the various types of equipment that United Rentals rents and their applications. You will also learn both manual and maintenance tasks to support the branch operation, as well as, provide labor assistance to seasoned mechanics. Every day, you can improve and challenge yourself, and if you have the desire and ambition, you'll have the potential to work towards service technician roles in our Service Department upon receipt of degree and/or certification. This is a great opportunity for someone currently in or receiving certification from a Technical school or program. Be prepared to enter full time employment whether it be automotive, diesel or any other mechanical background.

• High school diploma or GED and pursuing technical degree or certification

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Strong mechanical aptitude with foundational knowledge of tools and equipment

• Self- motivated with a strong drive and sense of urgency

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.

TECH INTERN - IN FRENCH

En tant que stagiaire au poste de technicien de service chez United Rentals, vous apprendrez les differents types d'equipements que United Rentals loue ainsi que leurs applications. A ce poste, vous apprendrez egalement les taches manuelles et d'entretien pour appuyer les operations de la succursale, ainsi que pour fournir une aide aux mecaniciens chevronnes. Chaque jour, vous aurez l'occasion d'ameliorer votre travail et de relever des defis; si vous en avez le souhait et l'ambition, vous aurez la possibilite d'avancer vers un poste de technicien de service au sein de notre service d'entretien apres avoir obtenu votre diplome et/ou votre certification. Nous compterons sur le niveau de service exceptionnel que vous offrirez a nos clients, a l'instar de tous les membres de notre equipe.

• Competences mecaniques avancees avec une connaissance fondamentale des outils et de l'equipement

• Auto-motive(e), avec un grand enthousiasme et un sens de l'urgence

• Sens du service a la clientele et du travail d'equipe, competences en communication verbale et ecrite
