Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling sessions tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Identify problems and develop actionable treatment plans that promote client safety and well-being.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to conduct therapeutic programs addressing mental health issues, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Maintain professional documentation and case notes in our EHR system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Regularly evaluate clients' progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary based on their feedback and clinical judgment.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions to foster collaboration and continuous learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Summit Healthcare Group, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• At least three years of experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.
• Strong proficiency in using telehealth technology and electronic health record systems.
• A reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet, and a web camera for effective communication with clients.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent schedule.
• Successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
• Flexibility to accommodate occasional weekend or evening sessions as needed.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or work with specific populations (e.g., children, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals) will be considered an asset. Additionally, familiarity with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
