Job description

United Talent is immediately hiring a Drywall installer for a construction company in Charleston WV!
Pay and Shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Pay is $15 per hour
Job Duties:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings.
  • Hang and secure drywall using screws, nails, and other fasteners.
  • Tape and finish drywall seams and joints.
  • Apply joint compound and sand surfaces to create a smooth finish.
  • Repair damaged drywall and patch holes or cracks as needed.
  • Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and work orders.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to job sites.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Work with team members to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements:
  • Previous drywall installation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
