Are you ready to shape the future of enterprise technology at FTB? The Enterprise Accounting Systems Bureau is seeking an enthusiastic, forward thinking leader to serve as our next Assistant Bureau Director (IT Manager II).
As the Assistant Bureau Director, in this high-visibility leadership position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction, strength, and effectiveness of several mission critical enterprise IT programs. You will partner closely with the Bureau Director and senior leadership to establish long range objectives, guide enterprise technology planning, and ensure our systems continue to meet FTB's evolving business needs.
In this role, you will oversee multiple IT Manager I led sections and provide leadership across the Software Engineering domain. With focus on FTB's Intake and Non-Tax Collection systems, you will oversee all phases of the software development lifecycle to ensure technical solutions meet FTB's operational needs. You will also sponsor high impact enterprise projects, ensuring they are well aligned with strategic goals, delivered efficiently, and supported by robust business analysis and technical insight. In addition, you will foster an environment that emphasizes collaboration, innovation, professional growth, and excellence.
Serving in this role, you will have a unique opportunity to influence enterprise level technology direction, strengthen organizational performance, and deliver impactful IT solutions that directly support FTB's mission and ongoing success.
