Eaton's GEIS division is currently seeking a General Manager - Airport Lighting Products, GEIS. This position is onsite at our Windsor, CT facility. Relocation within the United States is provided for this role.

Eaton's Airport Lighting Products' systems comprise a wide range of solutions, applications, and products for critical airfield operational elements. An innovative leader in airport lighting, Eaton's Airport Lighting Products expects excellence when responding to the demands of industry - light by light, airport by airport - across the world. Our products respond not only to the changing demands of our customers, but also the global shift toward computerized control and monitoring of lighting systems.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $165000 - $242000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The Business Unit Manager is responsible for the short and long-range growth and profitability of the ALP business unit and the proportionate contribution to the overall growth and profitability of Eaton's GEIS Business in support of established goals and objectives. This position requires an understanding of global markets and technology trends in the Airport Lighting Space or similar markets.

The incumbent will develop, direct and coordinate a global organization with functional responsibilities for business development, sales, product management, research and development, operations, and finance. The success of the position is measured by increased sales penetration into existing accounts and growth with new customers and markets as well as meeting pre-established operational performance objectives while meeting overall business profitability goals. In this role you will: Own and execute the annual strategic growth and operating plan consistent with the results and behavior objectives of the business.

Responsible for leading all business and functional support operations. Work closely with division and regional staff to deliver functional process standardization and the application of consistent and rigorous performance metrics. Accountable for full-profit center performance.

Ensure operational execution and financial performance to deliver the agreed profit plan. Execute established goals for sales growth, market share, profit contribution and return on investment to achieve results through leadership on new growth opportunities for both the established FAA (US) market and, especially, ICAO (International - non-US) opportunities. Lead business unit operations, supply chain and logistics to assure high level of customer satisfaction with delivery, quality and services.

Build high performance culture and organizational capability through effective hiring, placement, development, and motivation and foster a customer-centric culture Lead strategic growth strategy through portfolio management via customer feedback, understanding market trends and monitoring competitors and ensure effective coordination cross functionally to execute new product innovation Drive disciplined approach to projects and programs through integration of business tools including EBS (Eaton Business System), Value Selling, Six Sigma, Eaton Lean System and PROLaunch (Eaton's Product Launch process). Ensure a safe work environment for all employees through implementation of safety awareness programs and compliance with EHS, OSHA and similar regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Basic (Required) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in multi-plant manufacturing organization with at least five (5) years in leadership roles. Minimum of five (5) years of Product Line Management and/or Operations experience. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
