Greenway Health and Rehab is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Grand Bay, Alabama. We are seeking an experienced nurse leader with a background in skilled nursing, long-term care, post-acute care, or rehabilitation nursing to oversee daily clinical operations and help ensure high-quality resident care.

This RN Unit Manager position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse looking to advance into a nursing leadership role within a skilled nursing facility (SNF), rehabilitation, or long-term care setting.

RN Unit Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily clinical operations and workflow for the assigned nursing unit

  • Supervise, support, and lead RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

  • Promote high-quality resident care and exceptional customer service

  • Monitor physician orders, treatments, nursing documentation, and care plans

  • Assist with resident admissions, discharges, assessments, and care coordination

  • Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal healthcare regulations

  • Support infection prevention, quality improvement initiatives, and survey readiness

  • Provide leadership, coaching, training, and mentorship to nursing staff

  • Help maintain a positive, professional, and resident-centered nursing environment

Qualifications:

  • Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license required

  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred
