As a Unit Clerk, You Will:
Responsible for coordinating transportation and scheduling appointments for residents/patients, ensuring timely communication, documentation, and follow-up as needed. Assist with the management and maintenance of patient and resident medical records.
Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, and compliant with all healthcare regulations and policies.
Organize and file medical documents in a systematic manner for easy access and retrieval.
Assist with data entry and updating of medical charts, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information.
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate information is recorded.
Help prepare medical records for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Must Have:
0-2 years of previous experience in medical records.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in record-keeping.
Knowledge of nursing/medical practices and procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback.
Nice to Have:
