Job description

Atlantic Health is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual, to join the energetic and innovative team of healthcare professionals in their Atlantic Visiting Nurse Division as a Full Time Unit Associate. Unit Representative are responsible for calling patients or family members to schedule Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapist appointments and contribute to a positive work environment as an active team member with a commitment to learning and skill development.


Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Scheduling Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapists
  2. Maintains and updates reports. Maintains regulatory compliance with notifying MD. 
  3. Assists in ordering supplies
  4. Manages communications with Manager, Assistive Manager, Unit Associates, Field Clinicians  
  5. Works in collaboration with all agency team members
  6. Manages various reports with appropriate follow up with Team Manager
  7. Manages high call volume and focus on patient experience and customer service
  8. Assists with management during staff meetings

Required:
