• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health and substance use challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that prioritize their unique needs and goals.
• Provide a variety of therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family counseling sessions, ensuring a personalized therapeutic approach.
• Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans accordingly to enhance effectiveness.
• Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing urgent emotional distress.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of client interactions and progress using our electronic health record system.
• Stay updated on innovative practices and research in mental health care to provide the highest standard of service.

You will primarily serve clients navigating severe mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. The detox center setting means you will engage with individuals in various stages of recovery, requiring sensitivity, empathy, and the ability to address complex emotional and behavioral issues. Your efforts will support client resilience, recovery, and successful life transitions.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license to practice clinical social work in California.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Strong capability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team structure.

• Experience in a behavioral health or substance abuse setting, particularly within outpatient or detox environments.
• Familiarity with case management practices and relevant electronic health record platforms.
• Previous experience in crisis intervention and management.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities and methods.
