Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial client assessments using standardized evaluation tools to identify mental health issues and formulate individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based counseling sessions to individuals, couples, and families, employing techniques tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Document all client interactions and progress accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach to each client's treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain current on best practices within the mental health field, enhancing service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with a diverse range of clients facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, and relationship challenges. Qualifications
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of New Jersey.

  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in an outpatient setting, with a proven record of successful client engagement.
