• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans that include crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to provide effective therapeutic outcomes, collaborating closely with clinical teams on treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement positive behavior support plans and actively contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions regarding patient care.
• Engage in licensing and accreditation processes to ensure the highest standards of care are met and upheld.
• Act as a point of contact for connections with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners, facilitating a network of support for clients.
• Foster open and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders while promoting the mission of Bright Harbor Wellness Solutions.
• Build and sustain relationships with local and state organizations to identify new partnerships and funding opportunities that further our mission.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending relevant conferences, training, and statewide meetings to enhance your expertise.
• Embrace and promote the agency’s mission, values, and principles in all interactions, both internally and externally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational goals.

You will be working with a diverse array of clients, including those dealing with emotional and mental health challenges, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Your empathetic approach and commitment to fostering independence will directly contribute to their recovery journeys and overall wellness.

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is mandatory.
• A valid and independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is required to practice.

• Experience in community health settings, particularly with understanding the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and assessment tools.
• Previous experience in developing and implementing treatment plans and behavior support strategies.
• A background in crisis intervention and crisis planning.
