POSITION SUMMARY

Innovation Learning, one of the fastest growing before and after school programs is looking for Teacher for Summer Camp 2026. We have a unique PART-TIME opening for someone who is passionate about working with students in a school setting, starting right away!


Location: East Port Orchard School


Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8AM-1PM or 12:30PM-6:00PM
Hours will also be available during the school year to support before/after school programming


Pay: $19-22/hour, based on experience and education


In this role you will:

  • Deliver our well-rounded proprietary curriculum while engaging children enthusiastically, fostering the 4Cs (creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication).
  • Supervises and engage with a small group of elementary children while guiding them through all program components
  • Works with the Site Coordinator to organizes the daily materials for all lessons and activities, ensuring that all materials are readily available, and the curriculum is delivered.
  • Facilitate the daily program schedule for your group of assigned students.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure the attention, safety, and well-being of all students.
  • Assists children with homework, providing direction, offering support while checking for accuracy.
  • Develops strong relationships with students and have fun!

The Ideal Candidate will Have:

  • 1-year documented experience working with children, ideally teaching in a structured classroom or childcare setting.
  • Availability Monday-Friday during the full listed schedule
  • 18 years old or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Portable background check completed
