Wheelhouse Credit Union is seeking a Chief Lending Officer (CLO). This role is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for overseeing all lending operations, including consumer and mortgage lending as well as our Collections Department. The CLO ensures the Credit Union's lending programs align with strategic goals, regulatory compliance, and risk management standards while delivering outstanding member experiences and strengthening our presence in the community.
If you're a dynamic leader with a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, at least five years of progressive lending experience in a senior leadership role, have a strong ability to manage risk, ensure compliance, and maintain portfolio quality, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field (master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in lending, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending practices and regulations.
  • Experience managing collections operations and implementing recovery strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
