Job Description:
Position Summary:
Responsible for performing operational support duties of the Wire Transfer Department. Responsible for accurate initiation, verification and releasing of all wire transfer requests while meeting the established daily cutoff times. The incumbent resolves all internal and external member questions and issues related to wires. Assist with the implementation of projects, new process and procedures that will maximize quality and efficiency
Primary Responsibilities & Duties
  • Analyze outgoing wire requests to determine if they are in strict compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for validation and processing of domestic and foreign wire transfers ensuring risk for the organization is kept at a minimum.
  • Process all incoming wire transfers according to set policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for working on departmental and enterprise projects that have an operational impact on the organization.
  • Responsible for timely completion of daily departmental and project tasks ensuring all timelines are met.
  • Responsible for answering questions on a large range of compliance and wire issues.
  • Can work independently within the established procedures associated with the position.
  • Assumes additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union
