Description
We are an established commercial stone masonry subcontractor that has been delivering high-quality craftsmanship for over three decades. Specializing exclusively in commercial construction, we focus on both new construction and restoration projects throughout the DC/MD/VA region. Our scope of work includes:
  • Custom-cut granite and marble facades and flooring
  • Rubble and building stone facades
  • Ceramic and porcelain tile installations (small portion of total work)

Certified as a DBE/MBE in VA, MD, and through WMATA, this union-affiliated contractor is experienced in handling large-scale, government-backed projects and restoration work.
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. This role involves both estimating project costs and managing awarded contracts from inception through completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of working collaboratively across teams.

Key Responsibilities
Estimator Responsibilities

  • Utilize Bluebeam for digital takeoffs
  • Analyze bid documents, including drawings, specifications, and scope sheets
  • Prepare takeoff reports, detailed estimates, and formal bid proposals
  • Contact vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing
  • Follow up with clients regarding submitted bids

Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Review and understand contract scopes
  • Coordinate submittals in collaboration with general contractors
  • Manage material procurement and order tracking
  • Organize job folders and submittal packages for the field team
  • Facilitate communication between general contractors and internal office/field staff
  • Handle monthly billing processes and lien waivers
  • Oversee project closeout, punch list resolution, and final invoicing
