Performs general clerking duties such as data entry and paperwork filing. May work in a particular department or float between departments. Generally is proficient at typing and basic computer operation. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. Clerks in specific functions such as accounting should be matched to specific clerk positions.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for providing office assistance to the mobile/mini office by performing clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties to ensure efficient operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides clerical, administrative, and secretarial assistance to the supervisor to ensure a smoothly run office operation.
  • Prepares BRC's based on information received from supervisors to provide an accurate record of car repair for invoicing purposes.
  • Records, checks, and transmits man-hours to payroll to ensure accurate processing of the hourly payroll.
  • Prepares various monthly reports as required
  • Prepares purchase orders, order materials and ensure receipt of materials matches purchase orders.
  • Participates in and actively supports Safety, Quality projects and activities.

Skills & Specifications:

  • Be able to operate basic office equipment such as facsimile machines, copy machines, and personal computers.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with all locations, outside vendors and subordinates to ensure a clear understanding of required duties and performance.
  • Possess reading, comprehension, and basic numbers skills required for clerical support functions.
  • Be able to stoop, bend, and stretch to perform filing activities.

Education / Experience / Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of pervious office experience.
  • Knowledge of computers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
