ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be specified on submission)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
• 1 year Med Surg inpatient experience required
• 1 year Neuro experience preferred
• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Required certification: BLS from AHA only
• Preferred certification: ACLS from AHA only
• Patient ratios vary
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs only
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 - April 1
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, lifting and turning patients with assistance, push/pull up to 50 lbs
