To excel as a Union Plumber, you need strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, typically acquired through a formal apprenticeship and state licensure. Many union plumbers advance into supervisory roles, such as foreman or project manager, overseeing crews and coordinating large projects.
