Job description

Forklift Operator - Union City, GA
Location: Union City, GA
Pay: $19.50/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 4PM - 12:30AM
We're hiring a Forklift Operator to join our team in Union City, GA! This role is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and staging products within the warehouse while maintaining high safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift safely according to company safety policies
  • Load/unload trailers and transport products to designated areas
  • Verify inbound/outbound items for accuracy and damage
  • Use handheld scanners and equipment for WMS compliance
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and maintenance checks
  • Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Current forklift certification required
  • Minimum 2 years forklift operation experience
  • Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Able to work in non-temperature controlled environments
  • Experience with RF equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Experience in high-volume or food-grade warehouse environments preferred
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Flexible to work overtime as needed
