As a Cut To Length (CTL) Operator you are responsible for daily Cut to Length machine operation for part processing. Machine set-up, potential CNC Machine set-up.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Feedstock material inspection to ensure quality specifications
  • Calibration of measuring equipment (checking measuring equipment, i.e. tape measures, each day prior to using it in the course of a shift)
  • Part inspection to ensure quality specifications
  • Basic machine maintenance, including assisting maintenance personnel during breakdowns
  • Ability and willingness to effectively train others on machines, work cell, or other business functions as required
  • Pulling and staging feedstock for production orders
  • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a skilled Cut to Length machine operator preferred
  • Ability to navigate on a computer to find information, enter information when prompted, and print as necessary
  • Successfully pass a skills-based assessment - evaluates your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding

Starting wage for this position is $29.25 per hour, according to our union contract.
