Union Masons are skilled tradespeople who specialize in constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials. They are members of a labor union, which provides collective bargaining, job security, training, and benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans. Union Masons typically work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that masonry work is safe, durable, and meets building codes. Their training often includes apprenticeships, where they learn their craft under the guidance of experienced journeymen. Union membership also helps ensure fair wages and safe working conditions.

What Are Union Masonry Jobs?

Masonry jobs involve using brick, stones, and cement blocks to build structures. In a union masonry position, you work as part of a labor union, which is an organization that negotiates wages and contracts and works to protect the rights of its members.
