Job description

Position Title:ย Mentor and Induction Teacher Leader - Internal Only

Start Date: Jul 1st 2026ย 

Stipend:ย  $1,250ย 

Description:

As the Mentor, you support our mentors through

  • Collaboratively create, refine, share and follow up with monthly checklist (with support from the mentor and induction planning team)
  • Providing occasional support to mentors (with articles, videos, meetings or other resources)
  • Support facilitation of the development of the mentor program
  • Support administrators in pairing mentors with new teachers

As the Induction Teacher Leader, you support our new teachers through

  • Facilitate regular new teacher cohort meetings
  • Check-ins with new staff about their transition to Mahtomedi
  • Collaborate with union leaders of New Teacher Support Network
  • Help to plan and facilitate new teacher workshopย 

Time Commitment: approximately 5-8 hours per month (may be less depending on the time of year)
