Overview
Makers Union is looking for a driven leader who thrives in a high-energy, guest-first environment? We're seeking a passionate and hands-on Restaurant Manager to join our team and help create exceptional dining experiences every day.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operation-championing our core values of teamwork, genuine hospitality, and unforgettable guest moments. You'll lead daily restaurant operations, inspire and develop a strong team, and work closely with both front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure every detail meets our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless and efficient service.
  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve performance goals.
  • Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to uphold the restaurant's high standards.
  • Requires 50-55 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as business needs dictate.

Qualifications
  • Experience managing fast-paced restaurant.
  • Leadership experience.
  • A great attitude and work ethic.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours).
  • Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, highchairs, booster seats).
  • Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
  • Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
  • Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
