Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  1. Establishes and oversees the content vision and strategy of Neighborhood Credit Union.
    1. In conjunction with the SVP Marketing & Community Impact, oversees the development and execution of content and creative marketing plans to align with the marketing strategic plan to ensure the growth and expansion of Neighborhood’s products and services.
    1. Supervises the execution of the organization’s integrated marketing communication activities including website, blogs, newsletters, print, electronic, social media and direct mail outlets utilizing to maintain the credit union brand. 
    1. Coordinates with other departments to ensure seamless integration of marketing strategies. Manages cross-departmental requests and coordinates with teams for efficient project delivery.
  1. Assumes responsibility for the effective planning, execution, and tracking of all marketing acquisition strategies.
    1. Partners with the Senior Vice President to execute the strategy, vision, and roadmap to optimize marketing channels and work closely with cross-functional teams and agency partners to help drive efficiencies.
    1. Manages acquisition marketing channels including, but not limited to Paid Search, Display, Paid Social, OTT, targeted Email, etc. 
    1. Product owner of HubSpot ensuring data integration from Core. Provides strategy, identifies opportunities in member journey map, develops A/B testing, and oversees Marketing Managers work on content and implementation. 
    1. Analyzes market trends and demographic data concerning members and potential members. Keeps abreast of changing trends in the marketplace.
    1. Tracks and evaluates campaign performance results, identifies trends and opportunities to continually optimize the program, and provides insights to improve ROAS to achieve acquisition and overall company KPIs.
  1. Responsible for hands-on data analysis to quantify the impact of marketing touchpoints, content, and channels.
    1. Identifies, exports, and runs reports and dashboards to assess the funnel and attribution performance of paid/digital advertising, website, emails, social media, etc., and across channels.
    1. Performs diagnostic analysis to identify drivers of member behaviors, conversions, and quantify ROI from marketing campaigns.
    1. Conducts exploratory analysis to identify high-value opportunities (i.e., USA Data, member analysis, product analysis, retention analysis).
  1. Responsible for overseeing the brand image of Neighborhood Credit Union across all marketing materials and platforms.
    1. Oversees copywriting, design, layout, and production of promotional and communication materials. 
    1. Ensures that all public relations communications align with Neighborhood Credit Union’s brand identity and goals. Oversees the monitoring of public forums, social media sites, product review sites.
  1. Assumes responsibility for the organization’s internal and external communications.
    1. Oversees internal communications for marketing campaigns, news/events that impact the Credit Union, projects, and other initiatives ensuring they align with brand identity and goals.
    1. Coordinates content and user experience of the Credit Union’s intranet.
  1. Under the direction of SVP, manage the day-to-day of current and future projects/programs/products on the corporate level.
    1. Represents marketing on Collab-Co working with other departments and cross-functional teams to ensure Marketing, Lending, Retail, and E-Commerce needs and goals are represented.
    1. Oversees the acquisition partner programs, including Vericast, Velocity, TransUnion, etc.
    1. Ensures that all marketing and public relations materials comply with government rules and regulations, and that the website complies with applicable regulations. Stays up to date of changes in applicable rules and regulations.
    1. Plans and executes events including annual meeting, groundbreakings, openings, and community gatherings, managing all aspects from budgeting and promotion to coordinate with stakeholders and on-site logistics.
  1. Assumes supervisory and management responsibilities.
    1. Fulfills management responsibilities in accordance with Neighborhood Credit Union policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
    1.  Interviews, trains, and coaches’ employees. Plans, assigns, and directs work. 
    1. Appraises performance; rewards, counsels, and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  1. Performs such other functions that might be needed from time to time and assists others to complete tasks and work assignments.
    1. Represents marketing and the credit union at appropriate events including events outside of traditional business hours (e.g., community events, YP, Cornerstone league).

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • College degree required, preferably BA or BS in Marketing, Business, Communications or similar.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to implement effective people, time, project, and organizational management practices.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum three years' experience in digital marketing and analytics.
  • Experience analyzing CRM and marketing touchpoint data to understand and evaluate channel/campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities and measure ROI.
  • Four to six years of related experience in content and creative marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Minimum two years' experience managing people and partner relationships.
  • Marketing experience within a financial institution that has multiple branch locations.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
