About the Position: This position will be responsible for supporting the Bureau of Building with managing the planning and construction of capital projects for agencies and institutions statewide and other duties assigned by the Assistant Directors. Reviewing planning document submittals from contracted Professionals and managing construction bidding and award process for assigned areas. Serving as primary point of contact for Using Agencies in assigned areas. Visiting project construction sites to observe progress of construction, construction meetings and processing modifications of construction contracts.
What you'll need to be Successful: Excellent communication skills, understanding of planning and construction process, ability to learn and apply skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of professional experience in the administration of construction projects.
