At KBR, we are seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer supporting the Tactical Aviation & Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office in Huntsville, AL. The Sr. Systems Engineer supports the (TAGM) Project Office by developing the system capabilities roadmap, system development plan, system integration, and validation / verification of the Javelin Light Weight Control Launch Unit (LWCLU) system. This role ensures accurate system performance assessments, supports weapon integration on aviation and ground platforms, and contributes to test planning, analysis, and lifecycle engineering decisions. Roles and Responsibilities • Develop comprehensive technical documentation including system specifications, interface control documents, and design descriptions • Manage requirements and ensure traceability across the system lifecycle • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate system requirements • Support configuration management and change control processes • Analyze system capabilities and collective system of systems integration capabilities • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines • Support system integration activities and verification/validation efforts • Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and program milestones • Support lethality, survivability, and operational effectiveness studies. • Collaborate with production, quality, test and systems engineering teams to ensure weapon capabilities meet end user requirements. • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and briefings for leadership, stakeholders, and review boards. Basic Qualifications • 10+ years of related technical experience • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance Preferred Qualifications • Strong foundation in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or related discipline. • Experience with Javelin systems, Javelin CLU/LWCLU, guidance/navigation/control (GNC), or similar weapon systems preferred. • Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate technical findings clearly. • Familiarity with DoD acquisition, test processes, and VV&A standards is a plus.
