Summary:
This position is a full-time tenure track faculty appointment in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The Rank and Tenure-status is negotiable based on qualification.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach courses in Computer Science, engage in scholarly activities, develop externally funded research programs in Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Data Science, Robotics and Mathematical Modeling etc., direct the research of students, engage in professional and public service, and advise students on academic curricula, professionalism, and career opportunities. The Department values interdisciplinary and collaborative research, as well as innovative approaches to an inclusive engineering education.
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):
Ph.D. degree in Computer Science. ABD candidates who will complete Ph.D. by August 2023 will also be considered.
