The Applications Architect – CRM & LOS is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of CRM platform solutions (e.g., Salesforce) and organizational Loan Origination Systems (LOS), ensuring robust, scalable, and secure systems that support organizational goals and team member needs. This role works closely with Enterprise & Solution Architects, Agile Delivery Leads, and cross-functional teams to drive high-velocity, high-quality delivery, and continuous improvement.

What You'll be Doing: 

  • System Development Leadership: Lead the design and development of CRM and LOS software solutions, ensuring robustness, scalability, and observability. Oversee the development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment, focusing on velocity and quality.
  • CI/CD Process Ownership: Lead and enhance CI/CD processes to increase deployment speed and frequency.
  • System Observability: Provide guidance on system observability, including secure logging, performance monitoring, and data anonymization.
  • Collaboration: Work with Agile Delivery Leads to ensure technical needs are captured in the product backlog.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for CRM and LOS platforms, APIs, and integrations.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Promote thorough documentation and knowledge transfer for future initiatives
  • Vendor Quality: Ensure vendor delivered solutions are technically sound and meet the security, performance, and business expectations of Servus Credit Union.

What you Bring: 

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of hands-on experience with CRM and LOS platforms (e.g., Salesforce), agile development, and technical leadership.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., C#, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS), APIs, and microservices architecture.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Deep expertise in LOS and CRM platform architecture, configuration, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers.

Other Role Requirements:

  • Work Arrangement is Remote First, with few in person required sessions per year.
  • The business may from time to time ask for branch and/or department support for special projects and/or areas experiencing staff shortages. All employees may be asked to volunteer to assist in areas of need during these times. These assignments could result in a change of hours, location, and/or travel.
