How you'll make a difference:

The Audit Analyst manages and maintains audit related data, tools, and assignments. They also develop, enhance, and distribute detailed monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for the Audit Supervisor and management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with the Premium Audit Supervisor, Manager, and Premium Audit team to create criteria for the annual Audit Workplans.
  • Analyze historical audit and PAM data to assist with creating criteria.
  • Organize and summarize data from multiple sources into reports for management, the supervisor, and team by using Excel and Access.
  • Update and maintain internal audit tools.
  • Administer and maintain the central repositories.
  • Gather, analyze, and report on data for ad hoc requests.
  • Track audits and their progress for month-end reporting.

Your experience and skills:

  • Post-secondary education in business or computer science is an asset.
  • 2 or more years of related experience is required.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical skills to understand and perform complex calculations.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills with a strong attention to detail are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (graphs, charts, formulas, sorting, conditional formatting, etc.)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Access skills (run queries, create tables and forms, etc.)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word skills (formatting, insert tables, page layouts, etc.)
  • Adept at managing priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Proficient with WCB systems (PAM, PeopleSoft, Cognos, Teams, Content Manager, CORES, etc.)
  • Superior time and work management skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Able to work independently or as a team member.
  • Understanding of Audit procedures and processes would be an asset.

Salary: $61,080 to $71,812 per annum (Salary grade 8)

Successful candidate must reside in Alberta and be able to work in person from our Edmonton downtown or Calgary office as required. Final candidates are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment.
