To thrive as a Union Carpenter, you need strong skills in blueprint reading, framing, measuring, and construction techniques, typically supported by completion of an apprenticeship or trade school program. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and construction safety standards such as OSHA regulations is essential. Attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication are crucial soft skills in this role. What are union carpenters?

Union carpenters are skilled tradespeople who are members of a labor union representing carpenters.
