Unio Health Partners (UHP) is a highly differentiated physician practice management platform with the goal of transforming care delivery across the Western United States. UHP partners with leading physician practices, creating a cohesive, quality-oriented clinical culture and facilitating best practice sharing across the platform. Our affiliated practices gain access to a broader suite of services, providing a meaningful benefit to both physicians and patients. UHP's best-in-class clinical program covers three sub-specialties (urology, gastroenterology, and radiation oncology) and offers numerous ancillary services, including pathology lab, in-office dispensing, and chronic care management. We are led by a highly accomplished management team and provide a full suite of management services to its affiliated practices. UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Specialty Services is responsible for the strategic direction, operational leadership, and growth of Unio Health Partners’ Specialty service lines, including Radiation Oncology, Clinical Research, PSMA PET Imaging, and other emerging advanced programs. This role ensures clinical excellence, fiscal performance, and integration across multidisciplinary teams to support delivery of high-quality patient care and organizational growth.
What you will be doing

Strategic and Operational Leadership
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and strategic planning of Radiation Oncology, Clinical Research, and Specialty Imaging services.
  • Develop and implement service line strategies aligned with Unio Health Partners’ mission and growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with physician leadership to expand service offerings and adopt new technologies or clinical protocols.
  • Lead business cases for new equipment acquisitions (e.g., CyberKnife, Linear Accelerator, PSMA PET/CT systems).
Fiscal and Performance Management
  • Manage operating and capital budgets for assigned departments.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to drive efficiency, productivity, and margin improvement.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, equipment contracts, and service-level agreements.
Growth and Innovation
  • Support strategic partnerships with universities, life science organizations, and technology vendors.
  • Champion innovation and digital transformation across specialty services.

What you will bring to the team
  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; Masters degree (MHA, MBA, MPH) preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in program development, budget management, and cross-functional leadership.
